Four and a half year in this country,
I've experienced many things
sad and happy times
You ask
Do I look forward to leaving here?
Why do I look so happy?
Why? Only those
who
experience through the same things as me
would understand
Everyone goes through different things
and could have different views on the same matter
With 100 viewers, there will be 100 interpretations of the smile of Mona Lisa
I shall not compare from my point of view
because of course it is subjective
and some might not agree
There's only my unexplanable attachment to this city
and my will to make it my home
that propel me to make this decision
Yes, my decision. Not any one else's .
One day, I might look back and wonder
what it would be like if I choose otherwise
But today, I stand firm on the ground of Singapore
and decide and I say, I would not regret for it.
I may miss this place
where I've spent many years
and the people and things
that I've grown familiar with
but life goes on
and I shall leave my footmarks here
and carry the memories with me.
